Ben grew up in Slidell, Louisiana. He studied history at Louisiana State University, obtaining a B.A. in 2009. He then attended law school at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Center and received his Juris Doctorate in 2015. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana. He is married and has two children.
